Photography Classes at Norman Camera

Editorial or Public Relations Photography Class

Getting the message out with good photographs is important to non-profits and small businesses whether it is for the web, social media or print.  This class will cover how to shoot better photographs with any type of digital camera; portrait, presentation, meeting and work environments.

 Introductory Nature Photography Class with Field Day

Capturing the natural beauty around us has always been one of photography's strong points.  Learn the basic techniques for successfull landscape, bird, macro and outdoor portrature photography in this class then try them out during a day long field outing.

Sports Photography

Do you want to photograph your kid's sports activities and achievements for today and tomorrow.  This class will cover how to get the most out of your digital photo equipment when photographing sports.

Going on a special vacation this season?  This class will show how to bring back the excitement of discovery, the wonder of the unexpected and the beauty of the world in photographs.

During the flurry of everyday life, your household creates many memories of everyday episodes and special events.  Learn how to capture them in photographs that increase in value as time goes by.

Photo Club Judging

John loves to visit camera clubs and judge their competitions.  Currently, John has two sessions planned for this Winter with the Kalamazoo Area Photo Image Club and the Fruit Belt Camera Club. 


The Antique Auto Racing Association last made a visit to Michigan in 2003 at the Eaton County Fairgrounds.  The group preferred to run on 1/2 mile flat dirt horse racing tracks like the cars ran on originally.
